Currently in its eighth generation, the Nissan Sentra consistently receives high rankings from experts and everyday consumers alike. Performance
The Sentra has traded in its predecessor's 1.8-liter four-cylinder and turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder in favor of one powertrain; a 2.0-liter inline-four. This well-rounded engine delivers 194 horsepower and 146 pound-feet of torque. The engine is mated to an Xtornic Continuously Variable Transmission system that imitates gear ratios while further improving upon fuel-economy as the Sentra can make up to 28 mpg through in-city conditions and up to 39 mpg on the highway.
Exterior Style
The Nissan Sentra distinguishes itself from others in its class with an overall design aesthetic that's similar to its siblings. A strong front fascia is complemented by a signature grille, LED headlights, and fog lights, along with a floating roof. 16-inch wheels are included while 17- and 18-inch wheels are available with upper-end trim models. The range-topping Sentra SR trim even touts a rear spoiler with black side mirrors for a more aggressive and bold presence.
