There's some good news in store for mid-sized truck shoppers! The 2021 Nissan Frontier is set to get a bit of a facelift along with a dashingly powerful powertrain.

It's been known for some time that Nissan has been working on revitalizing the Nissan Frontier. While the mid-sized truck has undoubtedly kept of a solidly modern set of features, it's definitely been needing a bit of love. Fear not, we now know that revitalization is set to hit with the Nissan 2021 lineup of vehicles.

New 3.8-liter V6 Engine

The 2019 Nissan Frontier provides Memphis, TN and Collierville drivers with two powertrain options: a 2.5-liter inline-4 engine and a 4.0-liter V6 engine. The base 2.5-liter inline-4 engine offers Bartlett, TN drivers 152 horsepower and 171 pound-feed of torque. For those Lakeland drivers in need of a bit more power, the 2019 Nissan Frontier offered up a 4.0-liter V6 engine that manages 261 horsepower and 281 pound-feet of torque.

While specs on the new 3.8-liter V6 engine have yet to be released, it's rumored that it'll offer Cordova drivers around 300 horsepower. The new 3.8-liter V6 engine will work in unison with a nine-speed automatic transmission.

New Nissan Frontier Set to Receive Titan-Inspired Redesign

The 2021 Frontier is set to get more than just a new engine! Indeed, the humble mid-sized truck is set to gain some style ques from its older sibling, the Nissan Titan. Brawnier, bolder design is in store for the 2021 Nissan Frontier, adding in a more muscle-laden, modern style that's undoubtedly hailing from the Nissan Titan design group.
