What's New in the 2019 Nissan Versa?

The latest subcompact car has just recently rolled in here on Covington Pike in Memphis, and it's already getting attention for a host of excellent enhancements of appeal to budget-minded drivers looking to get the most value for less. What's under the hood and in-cabin? Jim Keras Nissan has the scoop.

Sure, Nissan Versa saw a series of enhancements mid-2018, from the standardization of a RearView monitor to an upgrade to its audio system, which then incorporated a 7.0-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, support for Siri Eyes Free, and four speakers.

For the 2019 model year, however, the ever-popular SV Special Edition (SE) trim brings a ton of improvements, among them:

  • 15-inch wheels in durable aluminum-alloy
  • Fog lighting
  • Chrome front fascia accents
  • A leather-wrapped steering wheel
  • A console lid in striking piano black
  • Special Edition badging
  • Nissan Intelligent Key® access
  • Push-button start
  • An Easy Fill Tire Alert system to keep you apprised of proper PSI
  • NissanConnect infotainment, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for smartphone connectivity, SiriusXM compatibility, and hands-free calling and texting support

Of course, 2019 Versa will hang onto its mainstays for its latest iteration, among them a 109-horsepower, 1.6-liter, four-cylinder engine and manual and available Xtronic CVT® transmission options. It’ll even get superb EPA-estimated fuel economy, up to 31 mpg city, 39 mpg highway, and 34 mpg combined with the continuously variable transmission.

But there's a lot more to the sedan than meets the eye, too. Give us a call or visit our Nissan dealership here in Memphis, TN, and we'll be glad to show you around, with a test drive experience we're sure you'll find unforgettable.
